Tech Support ExecutiveÂ
Job Description  Â
Identify and describe in detail key operating system features such as safe mode, system configuration utility, disk clean up, desktop clean up, temporary files, task manager and services
Working knowledge of how to trouble shoot browser related issues such as configuring Internet Explorer security features and disabling Internet Explorer add ons (BHOs)
The ability to trouble shoot problems with in Windows 2000, XP and Vista operating environments
Ability to install and configure Windows 2000, XP and Vista on a computer
Macintosh & Palm Operating System as highly desirable
Good working knowledge of TCP/IP
A demonstrated ability with being able to trouble shoot simple networking issues over a TCP/IP network
Able to identify and explain what are the main hardware components with in a computer system e.g Memory, Monitor, Processor, Hard disk drive, Motherboard etc
Ability to describe the process of building a computer
Ability to explain the computer boot up process
Effectively trouble shoot technical and non technical problems
Demonstrate an understanding of the difference between a customer’s issue and customer’s perception
Demonstrated proficiency in the English language
The ability to speak English in a clear accent neutral voiceÂ
Excellent listening skills
Ability to gauge customer experience and to adapt handling a call to a customer’s experience
The ability to effectively and professionally empathize with a customer
Demonstrated proficiency in the English written skills
Demonstrated ability to read and effectively comprehend written communicationÂ
Keyboarding skills of 30 words per minute with an accuracy of 80% (Duration - 5 Mins)
Self-discipline and composure
Learning and adaptability
Ability to research and find a solution using online tools
Issue Ownership and decision making
Time management skills and Interpersonal skills
Enthusiasm, resourcefulness, commitment and action oriented drive

Two years experience working in an international call centre environment that handles English speaking customers, in technical support (mainly in OS, networking, security application etc) OR
two years experience working in System engineering line (OS installation, networking etc)
Experience   1 - 3 YearsÂ
