Support to TPF environment : TSSG – Test system support group

Required Skills Or Knowledge:
• VPARS DASDs, RECOUP, BUSID, RIAT, ALLOCATOR
• MQ SERIES, X.25, MATIP, OSA, SOCKET
• PUT upgrade, TLD’s, GF’s, TPF, TPFDF.
• Possess a thirst for learning
• Ability to work independently and be a self-starter
• Highly motivated with the ability to handle a fast pace environment
• Possess strong teamwork and communication skills.

Roles and Responsibilities of the TPF support team
Describe detailed roles and responsibilities that are expected from team member having 2 years of experience.
• Ability to provide value addition to the tasks being preformed and exhaust manloading in prescribed time line.
• Mentoring new joinees and handle quality, metrics and common tasks for the team.
• Provide back-up support for onsite counter parts and share work load on and above manloading.
• Flexibility to work rotational night shifts to match US business hours

Experience level:
• Infrastructure Analyst – 3 resource – 2+ years of TPF experience

JD 2 : TPF Engineering Support

Support to TPF environment:

• Control Programs - upgrade, perform patches and enhance on customer requirements
• Database - Define, build and maintain database components
• Communications - Code COMMS programs to establish new links and channels, this will

Required Skills Or Knowledge:
• Prior experience in TPF engineering work.
• MQ SERIES, X.25, MATIP, OSA, SOCKET
• Dump analysis and resolving critical dumps
• Trace and performance analysis – CP trace / IO trace
• System performance tuning
• Estimate and handle projects independently
• Ability to handle highly transparent TPF live system

Roles and Responsibilities of the TPF support team
Describe detailed roles and responsibilities that are expected from team member having 2 years of experience.
• Ability to work in Projects & Problem logs as per the monthly manloading provided by onsite team in KC
• Ability to provide value addition to the tasks being preformed and exhaust manloading in prescribed time line.
• Mentoring new joinees and handle quality, metrics and common tasks for the team.
• Provide back-up support for onsite counter parts and share work load on and above manloading.
• Flexibility to work in partial US hours

Experience level:
• Infrastructure specialist – 4 resources – 5+ years of TPF experience
