Unix Admin professional

Job Description

•Install and maintain HP UX and software develop scripts and establish configuration standards.

•Maintain and document revisions to UNIX system.

•Must have Knowledge of VERITAS Volume Manager, VERITAS Cluster, and other Backup solutions.

•Extensive experience with Unix HP-UX 11 and above system technologies (system administration, server implementation, infrastructure and middleware tools, management and troubleshooting).

•Implement standards and processes around various data center activities o measure performance, capabilities, capacity.

•Must be able to build a quality-oriented integration approach over Unix / HP-UX platforms.

•Provide 3rd-level support for an enterprise-wide UNIX / HP UX distributed server platforms.

•Experience in Veritas DBE/Ac preferable in an HP environment.

•Ready to work in shifts.

•Must possess excellent verbal & written communication skills.
